Patrick Kypson clinched his second straight ATP Challenger Tour title at the UAMS Health Little Rock Open on Sunday. The 25-year-old American defeated wild card Michael Zheng with a score of 6-1, 1-6, 7-5 in a match that lasted two hours and 22 minutes. This victory follows his success at the Bogota Challenger in mid-May and extends his winning streak to 12 matches.

“It’s the first time in my career that I’ve won two tournaments back to back,” Kypson said. “I think that holds some sentimental value and just the way I won today, I really battled through. This one feels really good.” As a result of this win, Kypson has risen 93 spots to No. 251 in the PIF ATP Live Rankings.

Elsewhere, Chun-Hsin Tseng defended his title at the Internazionali Di Tennis – Citta’Di Vicenza in Italy. The top seed dropped only one set throughout the tournament and defeated Lukas Neumayer 6-3, 6-4 in the final. Tseng was dominant behind his first serve, losing just four points according to Infosys ATP Stats.

“I think I served and returned well today,” Tseng stated. “I was able to control most of the rallies and that gave me confidence throughout the match. I feel good physically and I hope to maintain this level in the next tournaments. I was really happy to be here in Vicenza, the atmosphere is great.”

In Moldova, Frenchman Clement Chidekh claimed his second Challenger title by winning at the inaugural Moldova Open against top seed Ilia Simakin with scores of 7-6(6), 7-5.
