The first-round matches were halted for around four hours due to adverse weather conditions in the Austrian Alps. Francisco Comesana, seeded seventh, was leading Tristan Boyer 5-2 when play was suspended. Meanwhile, Daniel Elahi Galan had a 2-1 lead against Alexander Shevchenko.
The matches resumed at approximately 4:40 p.m. local time (CEST). Later in the day, local #NextGenATP player Joel Schwaerzler is set to face eighth seed Marton Fucsovics, followed by Hugo Gaston’s match against qualifier Norbert Gombos.
