For the upcoming Wimbledon tournament, Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz have been named as the top two seeds in the men’s singles draw. The event is scheduled to take place from June 30 to July 13. Sinner, who holds the World No. 1 position in the PIF ATP Rankings, will lead the competition in London. A potential match against Alcaraz could only occur in the final round.

The pair recently faced each other at Roland Garros, where Alcaraz managed a comeback victory after saving three championship points in a marathon match lasting five hours and 29 minutes. This victory brought his record against Sinner to eight wins out of twelve encounters.

Alexander Zverev has been seeded third and is seeking his first major title. Jack Draper, representing British hopes, is seeded fourth. Taylor Fritz holds the fifth seed position while Novak Djokovic, a seven-time Wimbledon champion, is seeded sixth despite not having played since his semi-final loss to Sinner at Roland Garros.

Lorenzo Musetti and Holger Rune complete the list of top eight seeds for this year’s tournament.
