Jannik Sinner has secured his place at the 2025 Nitto ATP Finals, joining Carlos Alcaraz at the season-ending tournament in Turin. The event is scheduled to take place at Inalpi Arena from November 9 to 16.

Sinner, currently ranked No. 1 in the PIF ATP Rankings, will return to Italy aiming to defend his year-end championship title, which he won in 2024 without losing a set. This marks his third consecutive appearance and fourth overall at the Nitto ATP Finals. According to the Infosys ATP Win/Loss Index, Sinner holds a 10-2 record at this tournament and has only lost to Novak Djokovic in the past two editions, including the final in 2023.

The Italian player has continued his strong performance this season by winning two major titles for a second year running and reaching an ATP Masters 1000 final in Rome. He defended his Australian Open title and claimed victory at Wimbledon for the first time. At Roland Garros, Sinner held three championship points before being defeated by Alcaraz.

At age 23, Sinner is the only player who has been No. 1 in the PIF ATP Rankings during this season and has maintained that position for 60 consecutive weeks since June of last year. He will compete with Alcaraz for Year-End No. 1 presented by PIF honors as their contest remains close heading into the final part of the season.

Sinner made his debut at the Nitto ATP Finals as an alternate in 2021 when he replaced Matteo Berrettini. During that debut, he pushed Daniil Medvedev to a final-set tie-break and defeated Hubert Hurkacz. Since then, he has won nine out of ten matches played in Turin across two appearances.
