Stefanos Tsitsipas has enlisted the expertise of former Wimbledon champion Goran Ivanisevic as his new coach. This collaboration was confirmed by Tsitsipas’ management agency, Iconico Talent, on Thursday. Ivanisevic, who achieved a career-high ranking of No. 2 in the PIF ATP Rankings, is known for his previous coaching stint with Novak Djokovic from 2019 to 2024.
Ivanisevic will begin his role with Tsitsipas ahead of the upcoming grass-court season. Iconico Talent shared on Instagram, “This exciting collaboration comes just in time for the 2025 grass court season, as the Greek star looks to elevate his performance on one of the most prestigious surfaces in the sport.”
Currently ranked No. 26 in the PIF ATP Live Rankings after a second-round defeat at Roland Garros to Matteo Gigante, Tsitsipas faces challenges ahead. He is also positioned at 17th in the PIF ATP Live Race To Turin and aims to qualify for the season finale.
Despite some setbacks this year, including his current ranking position, Tsitsipas has shown promise with a notable victory at the ATP 500 in Dubai back in February. His overall record stands at 18-11 for the season according to the Infosys ATP Win/Loss Index. The Greek player hopes that Ivanisevic’s guidance will lead to improved performances as he continues through 2025.
