Jannik Sinner, Carlos Alcaraz, and Novak Djokovic are among the initial entrants in the US Open mixed doubles event. Tournament organizers announced on Tuesday that the event will take place during the qualifying week on August 19-20. The competition will feature 16 teams: eight with the best combined singles ranking and eight wild cards.
Sinner is paired with Emma Navarro, Alcaraz with Emma Raducanu, and Djokovic with fellow Serbian Olga Danilovic. Notably, nine of the top ten players in both the PIF ATP Rankings and PIF WTA Rankings have entered.
The men’s side features initial entrants including Sinner, Alcaraz, Djokovic, Alexander Zverev, Taylor Fritz, Jack Draper, Lorenzo Musetti, Tommy Paul, Ben Shelton, Daniil Medvedev, Frances Tiafoe, Casper Ruud, Grigor Dimitrov, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Nick Kyrgios and Andrea Vavassori.

The entry window for teams closes on July 28 at noon ET. Matches leading up to the final will be best of three sets to four games with no-ad scoring. Tie-breaks occur at four-all with a Match Tie-break to ten points instead of a third set. The final match will be best of three sets to six games under similar rules.
The winning team will earn $1 million. All matches are scheduled in either Arthur Ashe Stadium or Louis Armstrong Stadium at the US Open.
