The Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) highlighted several key moments and matchups at the ongoing tennis tournament in Montreal through a series of social media posts on July 30, 2025.

In an early morning post, the WTA announced Victoria Mboko’s victory over Sofia Kenin, stating, “There’s no place like home Victoria Mboko takes out Kenin in straight sets, 6-2, 6-3, to continue her journey in Montreal. #OBN25” (July 30, 2025). The result signals a significant achievement for Mboko as she advances further in the tournament.
